Use all up

The idea on www.operationwritehome.org is one to consider. What to do with all the scratch? I am willing to use them and I am using, but I often don't have time or the right sketch to use smaller papers. So I do have paperies here and there:)

My idea is as the tip above suggest to use all when making a card. Can I do it? I'll see:) I guess I can, I will have to make time to keep on making more than one card.

Here is what I made and I did use all the scratch. I did not use the sketches as provided on operationwritehome, but I just sorted and matted the card stock that was left.

Main card using the 'faux ripped paper' technique.

Card start with letter I

I could not find the card I made with the greeting starting with letter I. So I just made another one... to find the card that I made at first later on the day ... sigh .... I guess I had to make this one. A very nice and elegant card; I'll send it to my sister:)

This ribbon is the ribbon tied on new pyjama's I bought. It is of good quality and has a beautiful colour, so I kept it and recycled the ribbon on this card.

Used:
Close To My Heart stamp, nestabilities, embossing folder, ribbon (recycling) and gem.

With an envelope using the colours of the card.
