Hip & happiness

Hip & happiness and Happy birthday card

These cards are created based on a card sketch. I like the idea to add a layer which can be of any shape. This gave me the opportunity to think broader and I used different cute cutting dies. The squares are layered with foam tape, which give it a 3-D effect. The butterfly on the Happy birthday card also has foam tape on the back of its upper wings. For Card making challenge #34.

I got these two die cut card stock (green and pink) from a swapper. I cut them in two to create these cards. It was fun so I made four cards in total. See my next post to see the other two cards. For January 2017 Handmade notecard.

Flowers and butterflies cutting dies

These are cutting dies also from the Action. They do a good job for such cheap die cuts;) I used the background stamp in the set and then I die cut the flowers.  So in fact you make your own patterned paper, before cutting. I added a brad to the flower.

The butterfly is cut on patterned paper. The flowers and butterflies are adorable!

More of these cheap cutting dies.

Colouring 3-3

Practicing colouring brown dolls. Images from JadeDragonne and Penny Blossom.

Colouring 2-3

Playing with acrylic stamps of different sets from the Action. It is so nice that these sets also have cute greetings and buildings. An idea is to do the masking technique with the buildings.

These stamps really have a good size for either greeting cards, smash booking, scrap booking, art journaling, etc. They are very, very cheap, cost less than
€ 2,00, are of good quality and they do compete to expensive brands on the market:))
