Gorjuss girls flipbook

Where do I start:) I received a flip book and I used the base as an example for this flip book. I did made it my own, because I changed the middle section and I didn't made it into a pocket. The designer card stock is beautiful and it wasn't hard for me to match embellishment with the colours of the designer paper.

The aquarel paper with inks are left overs from the ATC card I created yesterday. I decided to use it for the flip book and I used my paper punches to cut flowers out of the aquarel paper, since it has inks on it. The flowers are beautiful and less paper is wasted.

Art journal page ~ books

This is a 4x6" art journal page featuring a book theme. I took a adult coloring postcard that I received from a swap partner and cut it to a 4x6" base for a art journal page. I added acrylic paints by using the finger painting technique. With stencils and different ink pads I gave more depth to the background. I finally used a piece of a magazine and a cutting die to cut a square to create a cover for my mini book. I cut pieces out of an old book page to make a little book.

adult colouring postcard
pieces of a magazine and old newspaper
acrylic paints
su stampin' pad ~ petite rose, garden green, bravo burgundy

Card making challenge #36

Another handmade card based on a card sketch. I selected the designer paper first and added according card stock to it. I used an almost forgotten stamping technique and stamped on the pink base card. It is like creating my own designer card stock:) Looking for a house was a search, but I was successful with again the Create a critter cartridge. I sized the house with the CCR and I was able to adjust the roof and the door.

I added a liner to the inside of this card and a piece of the designer paper, which makes a nice finish off.

Happy (easter) bunnies

This card is featuring a bunny or colours use for easter and/or easter bunnies, but the card does not have to be an easter card. My choice is to use the colours mostly used on easter cards. During the process of creating I thought of different sketches and somehow I wanted to use this cute bunny on the Create a critter cartridge. So here we go. The tag is from the Cricut sampler cartridge using Cricut DesignStudio. CDS is luckily still doing a good job:)

Stamped art journal page #1

This is like a tribute to rubber stamping;) I created a 5x7" art journal page using mostly rubber, clear or acrylic stamp images. First I added a lot of water on aquarel paper. This quality aquarel paper is thin and I had to be careful for the paper not to tear. I did have two weak places which where damaged because of the water. A very small part on the left corner (under) which was torn off and in the middle of the right side quite a torn.

After drying this background (it was quite wet) I added several images of rubber stamps to the back ground using 'not quite navy' (dark blue) and archival black. Following that I added 'not quite navy' ink. I finished colouring the flowers and the girl image with luminarte h2o. This part added more colour and certainly glimmer to the girl, the flowers and the whole art journal page. It was fun, fun, fun playing with the different rubber stamps and inks.

For Bauke

It is the first time that I tried to cut out the cow on the create a critter cartridge. I didn't want to use only designer paper somehow on this cow. As you can see I did a good job with the choice I made. Some cows have brown dots, don't they:)) The last piece of the cow is torn, but I think it is good as it is, so we see a piece of the under layer (grey).

By the way, su stampin' pad early espresso is a very nice colour;))

card stock ~ light orange, green, grey, dark grey, black
